Odaily News Crypto.com has today been awarded a limited license by the Dubai Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA), allowing it to offer derivatives trading services in the UAE.
The license will enable Crypto.com to launch derivative products such as futures contracts, perpetual contracts and contracts for difference (CFD) in the local market. The company plans to first open these products to qualified institutions around the world, and then gradually provide services to qualified investors. In addition, the license will also support Crypto.com to provide retail users with a US dollar fiat channel, allowing users to deposit and withdraw US dollars through Standard Chartered Bank.
