Ripple receives Dubai Financial Services Authority license to provide crypto payment services in the UAE

Odaily News Arif Amiri, CEO of Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), said that Ripple has received full regulatory approval from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) to provide cross-border crypto payment services in the UAE. The company announced on March 13 that it had received its DFSA license, allowing it to operate in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). DIFC is a free economic zone in the UAE with its own tax policy and regulatory framework.
Earlier news, on October 1, 2024, Ripple revealed that they are working to obtain a DFSA license in order to launch its digital asset infrastructure in the UAE. (Cointelegraph)
