Odaily News Sony's blockchain division is bringing Japanese social media giant LINE to the Web3 world, planning to adapt several popular mini apps to Sony's Soneium network. The LINE platform currently has about 200 million active users, and this partnership will bring four LINE-based games to the Soneium network, including "Sleepagotchi", "Farm Frens", "Puffy Match" and "Pocket Mob".
The integration is designed to enhance in-game rewards and purchase functions. The Soneium blockchain was officially launched in January this year, and the team said at the time that it hoped to promote the transition of Web2 users to Web3. The blockchain uses Optimism's OP Stack technology and runs as a second-layer solution on Ethereum. (Coindesk)
