Odaily News OKX Europe has announced the acquisition of a Maltese company with a MiFID II license, taking an important step towards providing compliant derivatives trading in Europe. OKX still needs to obtain approval from the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA), and the entity is expected to be officially operational later this year. The MiFID II license will enable OKX to provide regulated derivatives services to institutional clients within the European Economic Area (EEA), covering 27 EU member states as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
