Odaily News According to two people familiar with the matter, Ripple Labs executives, including CEO Brad Garlinghouse and Chief Legal Officer Stu Alderoty, lobbied President Trump to include SOL in the crypto strategic reserve plan announced last Sunday to give XRP more legitimacy in the crypto community. The inclusion of SOL also helped Ripple convey its intention to advocate for a crypto reserve that includes multiple U.S. tokens.
In response to a question about whether Ripple is pushing for SOL to be included in the crypto strategic reserve to make its inclusion in XRP seem more convincing, a Ripple press representative said that Garlinghouse had previously expressed that the crypto industry should work together rather than compete with each other.
