Viewpoint: The number of BTC open contracts on CME has fallen back to the level before the US election, about 150,000

Odaily News Crypto analyst Miles Deutsch wrote on X that the amount of USD-denominated BTC held in CME open interest has fallen back to pre-election levels (about 150,000 BTC). A lot of this may just be due to underlying trade liquidations, but it’s nice to see the total leverage in the system reset.
