Franklin Templeton Registers Solana Trust in Delaware

Odaily News Asset manager Franklin Templeton has registered a trust in Delaware tied to a proposed Solana spot ETF, suggesting it may soon consider launching the fund in the U.S.
Documents filed with Delaware corporation regulators show that the “Franklin Solana Trust” was established on Feb. 10 by CSC Delaware Trust Company, which has registered crypto trust products for other asset managers such as Bitwise.
In order to join the Solana ETF race alongside Grayscale, Bitwise, VanEck, 21Shares, and Canary Capital, Franklin needs to file a Form 19b-4 and Form S-1 for the proposed ETF with the U.S. SEC.
