Arizona lawmakers introduce new bill to strictly regulate cryptocurrency ATM operations to combat fraud

Odaily News Arizona Rep. David Marshall has introduced House Bill 2387, which proposes strict regulation of cryptocurrency ATM operations, aimed at protecting residents from Bitcoin ATM scams following a series of such incidents in the state, including one in which a woman was defrauded of $17,000.
The proposed bill would implement a number of protections, including:
- Daily transaction limit of USD 1,000;
- Mandatory state operator licensing;
