Berachain announces token economics: total 500 million tokens, 15.8% airdropped

Odaily News According to the BERA token economics published by Berachain, the total supply of Genesis tokens is 500 million. Specifically:
84,000,000 tokens are allocated to initial core contributors, accounting for 16.8%;
171,500,000 tokens were allocated to investors, accounting for 34.3%;
244,500,000 tokens were allocated to the community, accounting for 48.9%, of which airdrops accounted for 15.8% and future community plans accounted for 13.1%;
100,000,000 pieces will be used for ecology and R&D, accounting for 20%. 9.5% of the BERA supply will be unlocked when the token is released, which will be used for ecological growth, developer tools/infrastructure, liquidity configuration, etc.
All parties follow the same vesting schedule:
Initial unlock: After one year of cliff, 1/6 of the allocated tokens are unlocked;
Linear vesting: The remaining 5/6 of the tokens vest linearly over the next 24 months.
