Odaily News Jack Lu, co-founder and CEO of Magic Eden, published an article on X listing some principles for ecosystem and community building after the launch of ME, including: Principle 1: Mission First We hope that chain maximalists (maxis) believe that DApp is the future. Today, most cryptocurrencies are traded off-chain on centralized exchanges. In the future, Magic Eden will become everyone's entry into the cryptocurrency field, trading all assets on the chain. Principle 2: Long-term > short-term Magic Eden is incorporating ME into its rewards program. Long-term users will receive more rewards (for example, long-term stakers will receive more rewards). On-chain adoption is booming, but it will take several years for the on-chain economy to fully develop. This is why I will lock my tokens for at least 18 months. Principle 3: All chains, all assets, all communities We will connect all ecosystems to build a strong cross-cryptocurrency chain maxis community. Magic Eden is the only DApp in the cryptocurrency field that penetrates both tokens and NFTs, and will cover more than 15 chains by the end of the year. This is why we can execute the "all chains, all assets" strategy. Principle 4: Growth > Split The ME community should be warm and friendly. Cryptocurrency often feels nihilistic and PVP. However, if we want to grow the biggest community, we must make it simple, fun, and secure. This will lead to more success for everyone in the long run. We do not support constant infighting, blaming each other, or arguing over how to divide the pie, and will focus on how to increase users. Principle 5: Contribute value to gain value We want to invite everyone to join and grow the ME community. We will share many ideas about how we think it should be done, and invite users to use and build products, create content, advocate for the community, and share ideas. Everyone hates toxic farmers who contribute too little but take too much. True ME community members believe in and contribute to this community, and will get more rewards.
