Odaily News FOX Business reporter Eleanor Terrett wrote on X that Coinbase Chief Legal Officer Paul Grewal expects the number of SEC crypto cases to change "significantly" under the new chairman appointed by Trump. Grewal said: "I think the new administration will review all existing crypto cases filed by Gary Gensler and distinguish which cases are clearly scams and frauds and which are not." Grewal did not explicitly state that he believed that the cases against Coinbase and others prosecuted for alleged securities violations would be withdrawn, but he seemed to think that changes at the top and clear rules would require a new perspective.
