Digital asset custody firm Zodia Custody seeks $50 million in funding

Odaily News Zodia Custody, a digital asset custody company under Standard Chartered Bank, is in talks for a new round of financing. Zodia Custody CEO Julian Sawyer said in an interview that the company is seeking to raise $50 million to fuel its plans to enter new regions and expand its product range. Sawyer added that although Zodia is currently backed by several wholesale financial companies, it now hopes to attract more different types of investors, including payment and tokenization companies. Architect Partners, a cryptocurrency-focused consulting firm, is assisting in the fundraising effort, which began last month. (Bloomberg)
