Odaily News Vitalik Buterin responded to criticism of Ethereum’s current Layer 2 user experience, which is often seen as fragmented and complicated, saying that “Ethereans should not feel the need to justify current inadequacies when building for the future”. Vitalik insisted that Ethereum is building the future, and highlighted his previous article on a potential cross-Layer 2 interoperability roadmap. He said that enabling simpler cross-Layer 2 interactions will require technology and community collaboration to establish consistent standards, but will ultimately create a cohesive experience between Ethereum’s Layer 1 and Layer 2, “If we are serious about the idea of Layer 2 being part of Ethereum, we need to make using the Layer 2 ecosystem feel like using the unified Ethereum ecosystem.” (The Block)
