Xu Zhengyu: Hong Kong Treasury Bureau will promote RWA and digital currency ecosystem

Odaily News Hong Kong's Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Paul Chan, said today (October 21) in his speech at the Standard Chartered Enterprise Achievement Awards 2024 that the Treasury will soon issue a policy statement on the application of artificial intelligence in the financial market, and will further improve the regulation of virtual asset transactions, develop a blockchain digital asset currency ecosystem, and promote the tokenization of real-world assets and the digital currency ecosystem.
