Ronin Validators Voted to Integrate Chainlink CCIP

Odaily News Ronin validators voted to integrate the Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) to become the official cross-chain infrastructure of the Ronin network. After integration, Chainlink will be responsible for ensuring the security of the Ronin cross-chain bridge. It is reported that the Ronin validator community finally decided to integrate Chainlink CCIP after a round of competitive voting. Chainlink won with 10 votes, LayerZero ranked second with 3 votes, and Axelar ranked third with 0 votes. Chainlink will first start supporting cross-chain transfers between Ethereum and Ronin. When formulating the migration plan, Ronin and Chainlink minimized the impact on users as much as possible, so users can migrate all circulating tokens on Ronin without triggering the migration process, and no token holders need to take any action.
