American rapper Cardi B's social media account promoting memecoin is suspected to have been hacked

Odaily News The crypto wallet address shared by American star rapper Cardi B while promoting the WAP token has been traced back to an experienced crypto scammer. Cardi B's official X account shared a promotional post for WAP, a cat-themed memecoin that stands for "Wet Ass Pussy." In addition to a video of the WAP mascot (an animated cat), Cardi B also shared a wallet address that was reported by cryptocurrency investigators. An initial investigation by blockchain detective Wazz showed that Cardi B's wallet address was associated with multiple rug pull projects. Cryptocurrency investigation company PeckShield suspects that cryptocurrency scammers hacked into Cardi B's X account. (Cointelegraph)
