Odaily News Telegram founder Pavel Durov posted on his personal channel that the holiday season is approaching and the Gifts feature was launched today. The recipient of the gift can choose to display it on their profile or sell it in exchange for stars. Some gifts are in limited supply. Telegram will launch the function of converting these limited edition gifts into NFTs based on the TON network later this year. At that time, users can auction and trade these tokenized gifts outside of Telegram, and the ownership will be recorded on the blockchain.
