Report: American consumers’ interest in cryptocurrencies is growing, and the democratization of cryptocurrencies will be further promoted in the next 2-3 years
2024-09-12 10:46
Odaily News Deutsche Bank said in a report on Wednesday that U.S. consumers' interest in cryptocurrency is heating up, with less than 1% considering it a "flash in the pan," a sharp drop from previous years. Slightly more than half of those surveyed believe cryptocurrencies are an important asset class and payment method, and 65% said they believe they can replace cash. The bank surveyed more than 3,600 consumers in the United States, Britain and Europe in March and July. "We expect the democratization of cryptocurrency to advance further over the next 2-3 years, driven by exchange-traded funds (ETFs), Fed policy and regulation," wrote analysts Marion Laboure and Sai Ravindran.
