Mysten Labs co-founder: Sui is testing the ability to provide offline crypto transactions via radio waves

Odaily News Adeniyi Abiodun, one of the co-founders of Mysten Labs, told Cointelegraph that research has been completed on using radio waves to provide offline encrypted transactions, enabling the Sui blockchain to transmit transactions using only underwater waves, long-distance radio, and even compress transactions into smaller text messages. Abiodun said that Sui has tested this method and "it has worked", and the task now is to integrate it into IoT devices, which may also benefit the decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN) project. Sui is working with Canadian mobile service provider Chip Wireless to test its ideas and is considering expanding to target markets such as Africa.
