Franklin Templeton Files S-1 for New Crypto Index ETF

Odaily News According to an August 16 filing, Franklin Templeton filed an S-1 application for a new crypto index ETF, aiming to be a one-stop cryptocurrency portfolio. The Franklin Crypto Index ETF will track the performance of the CF Institutional Digital Asset Index, which currently includes only Bitcoin and Ethereum. "The fund will seek to achieve its investment objective by investing in digital assets with weights that are approximately the same as those represented in the underlying index," the filing said, adding that the ETF may hold other types of cryptocurrencies in the future.
