Odaily News Greg Brockman, president of OpenAI and one of its 11 co-founders, will take an extended leave of absence. Another co-founder and key leader, John Schulman, has left for Anthropic, a competing company founded by former OpenAI researchers. Peter Deng, product director who joined the company last year, has also left, according to a person with direct knowledge of the company's changes. He previously served as product director at Meta Platform, Uber and Airtable. The previously unreported departures appear to be unrelated to each other, but they suggest that the company's leadership has not yet stabilized after firing and rehiring CEO Sam Altman in November.
