Baichuan Intelligence completes RMB 5 billion Series A financing, with participation from Alibaba, Xiaomi, Tencent and others

Odaily News Baichuan Intelligence, a domestic AI big model company, recently completed its A round of financing with a total of 5 billion yuan, and will start its B round of financing with a valuation of 20 billion yuan. Investors in the A round include leading companies such as Alibaba, Xiaomi, and Tencent, as well as state-owned institutions such as the Beijing Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund. Together with last year's 2.5 billion yuan financing, Baichuan Intelligence has raised a total of 7.5 billion yuan, setting a record for the highest total financing in the field of domestic AI big models. After this round of financing, Baichuan Intelligence has entered the "first echelon" with a valuation of 20 billion yuan, ranking alongside MiniMax, Dark Side of the Moon, and Zhipu AI.
