Odaily News Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse recently clarified the recent court ruling on Ripples securities lawsuit on X. U.S. District Judge Phyllis J. Hamilton of the Northern District of California issued summary judgments on federal and state class claims, but refused summary judgments on individual claims under California law. In response, Garlinghouse further clarified: There are many misleading and some factually inaccurate headlines describing the decision made by a California judge yesterday in the class action lawsuit regarding XRP. It can be accurately said that this is a huge victory... There is absolutely no decision to deny or change the fact that XRP itself is not a security (according to the decision of the New York court). He emphasized that all class actions in the lawsuit were dismissed and said that the California courts ruling dismissed all allegations that Ripples sale of XRP violated federal securities laws.
