Bybit first submitted an application for a virtual asset trading platform license to the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission on January 31, 2024, showing that the name of the virtual asset trading platform operator is "Spark Fintech Limited". So far, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission has announced that the number of applicants whose virtual asset trading platform licenses have been withdrawn and returned is 10, 1 has been returned, and the number of applicants on the list of virtual asset trading platform applications is 16.
