Odaily News Brokerage firm Bernstein said in a research report that if the United States approves an Ethereum spot ETF, it would be seen as a major regulatory relief for the crypto industry and raise expectations that SOL will be classified as a commodity. Bernstein analysts added: "In the long run, we do believe that if Trump is elected, cryptocurrencies may receive strong legislative and institutional support (new SEC chairman), bringing lasting structural changes to the financial integration of cryptocurrencies. Tactically, if the Ethereum ETF is approved, it will set a precedent for the first non-Bitcoin blockchain asset to be considered a commodity, thereby raising hopes that Ethereum peers (possibly Solana) will follow the same path."
