FTX extends creditors’ claim deadline to late July or early August
2024-05-15 07:39
Odaily News FTX sent an email to its customers stating that it has extended the deadline for submitting claims to the end of July or early August. Although the time was not specified, the deadline will coincide with the voting deadline for creditors to approve the Chapter 11 reorganization plan in the US procedure. Previously, May 15 was the last date for users to submit claims. After the adjustment, customers will have at least 10 to 12 weeks to submit claims. At the same time, FTX also pointed out that customers can participate in the lawsuit in the Bahamas or the United States, or both. In addition, FTX also stated that in June 2024, users will receive information about the results of participating in one or the other lawsuit, and stated that "they will have 6-8 weeks to make a final choice."
