Remi, founder of Inco: Inco is a modular Layer1 and can also be used as a universal privacy layer for Web3 - SevenX Research Day
2024-02-28 11:23:10
Odaily News On February 27, on the second day of the SevenX Research Day: Restaked Modularity @ETHDenver event, Inco founder Remi expressed his views on the theme of Cosmos meets Ethereum: FHE confidential computing network on Eigenlayer. Remi introduced the positioning of Inco at the event, saying that Inco is a modular Layer1 that combines fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) and EVM, and can also be used as a universal privacy layer for Web3. Remi further explained the importance of privacy to blockchain. In addition to the public’s basic demand for privacy, many institutions are also unable to build on existing blockchains due to the need to properly handle sensitive data. In addition, some specific projects such as games types of applications also have a strong need for privacy. With Incos privacy services, developers will be able to explore more potential use cases around games, DeFi, commercial activities and more. Remi also mentioned that Inco is integrating with EigenLayer. EigenLayer was chosen because, firstly, Inco, as a Layer1 built based on the Cosmos SDK, has security and liquidity challenges in the early stages of startup, so EigenLayer can be used to ensure security during cold start; secondly, with the security support of EigenLayer, Inco There is no need to choose an aggressive inflation rate, thereby slowing down the issuance of tokens; third, Inco will also use its privacy features to give back to Ethereum. SevenX Research Day: Restaked Modularity @ETHDenver was hosted by SevenX Ventures, co-organized by Mirana Ventures, and supported by EigenLayer. Leading researchers, AVS projects and founders related to Modularity and Restaking attended to discuss the cutting-edge of the industry.
