The value of Merlin Chain ecological NFT exceeded US$420 million, second only to Ethereum

Odaily News Bitcoin second-layer network Merlin Chain has transferred a total value of more than US$420 million to NFTs within 16 days since its mainnet was launched on the 8th of this month, becoming the public chain with the highest NFT value outside of Ethereum. This includes 220,000 Bitmaps, 4,800 Goosinals, NodeMonkes, Bitcoin Frogs and other NFTs, 4,900 BitSmiley OG and 160,000 BRC-420 ecological assets. NFT trading markets such as Element Marketplace and BendDao will also support the Merlin Chain mainnet in the near future, bringing more liquidity and value-added space to NFTs in the Bitcoin ecosystem. It is reported that Merlin Chain is the first Layer 2 to support BTC NFT, and the total value of dozens of other BTC Layer 2 NFTs is still 0.
