Odaily News: In recent weeks, crypto custody infrastructure provider Qredo has stepped up efforts to increase the value of its equity business and create utility for its tokens, while several of its company’s top executives have left. Sources revealed that Qredo asked its founding team member Benjamin Whitby, who most recently served as vice president of strategic partnerships, to leave the company. Whitby confirmed his departure to The Block, saying, Im sad to be asked to leave, and that he would absolutely go back if they asked him to. Whitby said he remains a Qredo shareholder and has invested money from day one. In addition, sources revealed that Dan Burke, Qredo’s head of Asia Pacific, has resigned to pursue other opportunities. Burke also confirmed his departure and said his last working day at Qredo will be January 26, and Dae Lee, Qredo Asia Pacific sales director, will take over his position. Qredo asked Vice President of Marketing and Operations Luis Vaello to sign a new contract. But Vaello refused and instead joined the Qredo Foundation, which focuses on increasing the value of the QRDO token. Vaello confirmed the news to be true and said he is now focused on helping Qredo Network transition to the next phase called Fusionchain, a Cosmos-based blockchain upgrade. (The Block)
