Starknet V0.13 upgrade has been launched on the mainnet

Odaily News StarkWare exploration leader and Starknet staff abdel.stark.eth posted on the X platform that the Starknet V0.13 upgrade has been launched on the mainnet. According to previous news, the governance page shows that the Starknet community has voted to pass the proposal to activate the Alpha V0.13.0 upgrade on the main network. The main content of this upgrade is to add the V3 transaction type, whose purpose is to enable the Starknet network to support some future feature upgrades, such as adding STRK as a gas token in addition to ETH. It is worth mentioning that the V0.13.0 upgrade covers the technical preparations for using STRK as a gas token, but this does not mean that STRK can now be used as gas.
