BC Technology Group plans to change its name to OSL Group Co., Ltd.

Odaily News According to the announcement issued by BC Technology Group, the board of directors recommended that the companys English name be changed from BC Technology Group Limited to OSL Group Limited and the companys Chinese name be changed from BC Technology Group Co., Ltd. to OSL Group Ltd. It is reported that OSL is the brand name of the digital assets and blockchain platform operated by the group. The Board of Directors believes that the proposed name change will provide the Company with a more appropriate corporate image in terms of future business development and enhance the Companys brand identity. Therefore, the Board of Directors believes that the proposed name change is in the overall interests of the Company and its shareholders. In addition, according to Zhitong Finance, Hong Kong Stock Exchange disclosure documents show that on November 28, Fidelity International sold 520,000 ordinary shares of BC Technology Group, worth approximately HK$4.0354 million; on December 6, Fidelity International sold 1.7765 million ordinary shares of BC Technology Group were sold, worth approximately HK$19.0032 million. After two sales, Fidelity Internationals latest long position ratio dropped from 8.11% to 6.99%.
