Hong Kong Monetary Authority: BitGinko is not authorized to conduct banking business in Hong Kong

Odaily News The Hong Kong Monetary Authority issued a statement calling on the public to be vigilant. BitGinko is not authorized to conduct banking business in Hong Kong. According to the Hong Kong Banking Regulations, BitGinko has not been authorized by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, nor has it been allowed to establish a local representative office. The Hong Kong Monetary Authority reminds members of the public that as the Internet has global reach, members of the public should verify the accreditation status of any institution that uses the Internet to provide bank account services or invite deposits to the Hong Kong public before transferring funds to an institution or providing any personal information.
