South Korean prosecutors request that Bithumb’s former board chairman be sentenced to 8 years in prison

Odaily reported that South Korean prosecutors requested an 8-year prison sentence for former Bithumb board chairman Lee Jung-hoon for violating the Aggravated Punishment Act for Specific Economic Crimes, which is the same as the first-instance verdict. Lee Jung-hoon was accused of fraud of 110 billion won (approximately US$85 million).
