Bitwise analyst: Spot Bitcoin ETF may bring in as much as $100 billion in capital inflows in the next five years
2023-11-01 00:58
Odaily News Asset management company Bitwise analyst Ryan Rasmussen said in an interview that spot Bitcoin ETFs may bring in capital inflows of up to $50 billion to $100 billion in the next five years and may have a huge impact on Bitcoin prices. He also said that the SEC is expected to approve the ETF application as early as this December holiday, and Bitwise is one of the many applicants. In previous news, Ryan Rasmussen also said that advisors interested in cryptocurrencies usually consider allocating 1% to 5% of their portfolio to invest in Bitcoin. Historically, its portfolio BTC weighting has been at the lower end of the range (i.e. 1%) as stocks and bonds offer attractive opportunities. But as professional asset allocators seek to hedge against the risks of rising inflation, economic uncertainty and geopolitical conflict, more are considering increasing the weight of BTC in their portfolios.
