Odaily News Previously, the lending agreement Eralend, which was targeted by hackers, announced the following:

1. A new version of the protocol, which will be audited by PeckShield, will be deployed. The new protocol will continue to be developed and upgraded as planned. The previously affected old version of the protocol will be renamed EraLend Classic.

2. EraLend will continue its efforts to track and recover stolen funds until full recovery is achieved.

3. EraLend will engage SlowMist as a security advisor, who will provide support to Eralend in asset recovery and subsequent product security.

4. Eralend will gradually introduce additional repayment sources, including fundraising, potential zkSync airdrops, and diversified platform revenue, among others.

5. The new version of the EraLend protocol will remove SyncSwap LP tokens as collateral, and all fee income will be used to compensate victims. The old version of the protocol, EraLend Classic, will cease all loan functionality starting from August 8th, 00:00 UTC. Repayment and withdrawal functions will remain open until all users have exited.
