In response to some users' feedback about the lengthy and difficult redemption process, requiring extensive documentation, Ardoino stated, "Due to Tether's reliance on strong banking partners, it is crucial to ensure proper KYC/AML checks before accepting customers. If this is not done, all Tether users will be exposed to risks."



Ardoino also mentioned that Bitcoin is the only decentralized thing, but USDT is not Bitcoin. It is a centralized stablecoin that uses a decentralized transport layer. Therefore, if you want to redeem fiat currency, please adhere to the rules of the fiat currency system.
