Terraform Labs requests a subpoena of FTX to obtain relevant documents for SEC litigation defense.

2023-07-20 16:25
Odaily News According to a court document on July 19th, Terraform Labs is seeking to subpoena the bankrupt FTX to obtain relevant documents for its defense in a lawsuit with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In February of this year, the SEC sued Do Kwon, alleging that their fraudulent activities and market manipulation led to the collapse of the Terra/LUNA token, resulting in losses of approximately $40 billion. To prove their point, Terraform Labs developers are requesting that FTX provide documents showing wallet addresses, trading accounts, and transaction records related to the "sale/quote of a large number of cryptocurrencies" it developed, including UST and LUNA.

The company specifically requests FTX to disclose the Jump Trading wallet, displaying its UST and LUNA transactions from May 1, 2021, to May 31, 2021, as well as from May 1, 2022, to May 31, 2022. Additionally, the company also wants the bankrupt company to provide the trading accounts and wallets of other short sellers from March 1, 2022, to May 31, 2022. (cryptoslate)
