Odaily News: Poly Network tweeted that due to recent attacks, its services have been temporarily halted. The team is actively communicating with relevant parties and diligently assessing the specific situation of the affected assets. Poly Network also welcomes cybersecurity professionals to help resolve this issue and will provide timely updates on the progress of the incident.



According to reports today, Poly Network has been attacked. According to Beosin Alert, hackers have minted over $34 billion worth of assets on multiple chains, some of which have been stolen and bridged to an Ethereum address starting with 0xe0Afad.



Metis announced that they have noticed the current situation of PolyBridge and are in contact with the Poly Network team to minimize the impact of the Poly attack and further evaluate the situation. In addition, Metis stated that there is no available selling liquidity for the nearly 100 million newly minted BNB and nearly 10 billion BUSD on the Metis network. All funds on Metis Andromeda are secure.



Metis later updated that all METIS tokens minted through PolyBridge have been locked on the BNB Chain with limited liquidity.



Furthermore, according to Lookonchain monitoring, the Poly Network hacker has sold 94 billion SHIB for 360 ETH, 495 million COOK for 16 ETH, and 15 million RFuel for 27 ETH. The hacker is transferring the assets and 1 ETH to multiple new wallets, likely for selling purposes.
