Cboe updates multiple spot Bitcoin ETF applications, designates Coinbase as the supervisory shared agreement partner.

Odaily News: Cboe's website indicates that the company submitted its latest 19b-4 Bitcoin spot ETF application on Friday. The latest filing includes Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF, VanEck Bitcoin Trust, WisdomTree Bitcoin Trust, and Wise Origin Bitcoin Trust.

In the updated filing for Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Trust, Cboe states that it expects to enter into a surveillance sharing agreement with Coinbase, Inc. Similar wording is also included in the updated filings for Invesco, WisdomTree, and Wise Origin.

Cboe has also revised the filing for ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF, listing Coinbase as a partner for surveillance sharing agreement. Earlier this month, Coinbase was first included in the filing for the BlackRock spot ETF, which is seen as a significant development that could pave the way for related applications to be approved.

Cboe states that Coinbase represents a significant portion of the U.S. and USD-denominated Bitcoin trading market. The Spot BTC Surveillance Sharing Agreement (SSA) is expected to have features of a surveillance sharing agreement between two ISG members, allowing ETF trading platforms to supplement their access to spot Bitcoin trading data on Coinbase. Yesterday, the SEC stated that recent filings for Bitcoin spot ETFs did not clearly mention the names of the spot Bitcoin trading platforms with which they have signed "data sharing agreements," nor did they provide sufficient information about the details of these monitoring arrangements. Applicants can revise the information and resubmit their filings. In response, a spokesperson for Cboe stated their plan to update and resubmit the Bitcoin spot ETF application.
