2026 AI Builders Day Full Agenda Announced: When Models Are No Longer Scarce, What Do AI Builders Need to Win?

A Shanghai Gathering on Computing Power, Applications, and the Next Wave of AI Opportunities
Building an AI demo over a weekend is no longer difficult, but why are products that are truly used consistently and that users are willing to pay for still so scarce?
As model capabilities gradually converge and API costs continue to fall, the question facing AI builders is shifting from "Can I build it?" to "Why would users choose you?" Where does a product's long-term moat actually come from—data, scenarios, workflows, user relationships, or brand and distribution? When model providers raise prices, restrict regions, or change their rules, how should applications maintain stable operation?
On September 21, the "2026 AI Builders Day Shanghai," initiated by 6Block and co-hosted by Techub News and Miuro.ai, will be held at the Shanghai Guotou Tower. The event is expected to bring together about 100 developers, founders, investors, and industry partners to explore how AI can move from technical capability to real products, covering everything from computing infrastructure and model invocation to investment research, video, and music creation.
When Models Are No Longer Scarce, Where Are the Opportunities for Builders?
The closing roundtable will center on the theme "The End of AI—When Models Are No Longer Scarce, Where Are the Opportunities for AI Builders?" and ground the discussion in the real choices every builder is facing:
- If you have only three people, a limited budget, and six months, should you start from models, computing power, Agents, tools, or vertical applications?
- Why are there more and more AI demos, yet still so few products that truly find PMF and achieve sustained paying users?
- Faced with closed-source models, open-source models, self-hosted deployment, and multi-model APIs, how should developers choose their infrastructure?
- When everyone uses the same models, where does a product's real moat lie?
- If AGI arrives earlier than expected, what capabilities and assets are most worth accumulating today?
This discussion does not attempt to provide a unified answer. Instead, it aims to help AI builders see the directions truly worth investing in for the next stage through different perspectives from infrastructure, product, content creation, and ecosystem frontlines.
From Computing Foundation to Concrete Applications
The multiple themed talks before the roundtable will also provide concrete practical examples for these questions.
Core contributors from the Gonka.ai team will deliver a keynote speech sharing practices and observations from an open AI computing network; the technical lead of GonkaRouter.io will present "One API, Build Your AI Expert Team," introducing the invocation and collaboration of multi-model capabilities; and a hands-on mentor from the Uweb AI team will share, through real cases, how to use AI to build a personal investment research system.
On the content creation side, the Craftale AI team will break down the complete process from idea to finished film around "A New Paradigm for AI Video Creation: From a Flash of Inspiration to a Complete Short Film"; the CTO of the Miuro.ai team will share how AI is reshaping music creation, global distribution, and value circulation.
Guests currently confirmed to attend also include SentientAGI APAC Lead Anita, Hoshino University President and AI content creator Hoshino, Monad Greater China Ecosystem Lead, Billions Network APAC Lead, and others.
In addition to the agenda guests, dozens of AI and Web3 researchers, founders, and ecosystem builders—including Haotian, DeFi Teddy, Jingle Bell Unit-01, Wang Xiaolou, Laughing, Zisu, Neal, and Shawn Pang—will also be on site to exchange views with AI Builders on computing power, Agents, product implementation, and growth.
Media and community support includes OpenSchool, Foresight News, BlockBeats, DeepFlow, PANews, Odaily, Shenqiu Community, OpenBuild, Fudan University Blockchain Association, East China University of Political Science and Law Blockchain Association, TinTinLand, NODE-X, and others.
The event will also feature Q&A, raffles, coffee breaks, and open networking. Prizes include Xiaomi AI glasses, AI inference, video and music creation token packages, and tickets to the main venue of Wanxiang Blockchain Week and TOKEN2049.
