Bitget Wallet launches May Day scan-to-pay campaign, offering up to 1,000 RLUSD cashback per transaction

Bitget Wallet has launched a May Day QR code payment campaign, running from April 28 to May 7, further promoting the adoption of stablecoin payments in daily consumption and tourism scenarios across the APAC region.

During the campaign, users who complete offline QR code payments using USDT or USDC will receive RLUSD cashback for each transaction. Between May 1 and May 7, the platform will randomly select one paying user each day to receive a 1,000 RLUSD reward. Additionally, to lower the barrier for first-time users, Bitget Wallet will airdrop XRP to eligible participating users as account reserves required to activate RLUSD withdrawals.

RLUSD is a compliant dollar-pegged stablecoin issued by Ripple and regulated by the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS). This campaign marks the first real-world use case since Bitget Wallet integrated the XRPL mainnet and connected to the RLUSD payment ecosystem at the end of March, representing a key milestone in advancing its Everyday Finance strategy.
