In addition to the project itself, the market trend can also be seen in the investment of encrypted VCs. The investment data of encrypted VCs can help users understand the latest DeFi trends. DeFi researcher Ignas tracks crypto VC money flows to analyze the innovative protocols favored by these investors. BlockBeats compiles as follows:
Here's where VC money went last month:

First, the total amount of funds raised in the crypto ecosystem reached a very high peak last month. In March, there were 129 crypto funding rounds worth a combined $9.47 billion, the most since 2008.
The following four projects totaled approximately $8.2 billion (87% of the total):
Payments giant Stripe - raising $6.5 billion;
Hardware wallet Ledger - $1.08 billion;
zkSync developer Matter Labs — $458 million in funding;
Stock and crypto investment platform eToro - $250 million in funding.

The remaining 125 financings totaled $12.7 billion, showing that venture capital is slowly picking up steam, looking for quality projects.

As far as DeFi is concerned, financing is still in a slow growth phase. Only 17 DeFi projects managed to raise funds last month, totaling $94 million, which, to be fair, compares poorly to DeFi funding in March last year, when 45 projects raised $300 million.I often follow the seed rounds of well-known VCs, and most of these projects do not have tokens yet, and I speculate that if market sentiment improves, they will launch tokens soon. Below are the 50 items on my watchlist.

The top 3 financing projects in the DeFi field in March:

Polytrade is a blockchain-based trade finance protocol, Polytrade lends to the traditional RWA category known as "invoice factoring". In its business, a lender purchases due invoices from suppliers at a discount and then collects the full invoice amount, thereby generating a profit or gain.

It's a trillion-dollar asset class favored by banks and credit funds. Currently, you can earn 15% APR on USDC lending, which requires KYC. Polytrade TVL is $11M, and the team raised $3.8M on March 30 from Alpha Wave, Matrix, Polygon, and others.
Econia Labs is the Aptos ecological DeFi protocol. Econia is able to integrate other applications ranging from spot trading to perpetual leverage. Looks like "Serum" on Aptos.

Gyroscope Protocol focuses on resiliency - keeping parts of the system stable even if parts fail. Reserves consist of vaults designed for risk stratification. The team raised $4.5 million on March 9 from Placeholder VC, Galaxy Ventures, Robot Ventures, alancer Labs co-founder and CEO Fernando Martinelli, and others.
