Keyppi: Zero-knowledge private key recovery platform

Keyppi will protect user keys by implementing zero-knowledge proofs, decentralized storage, and verifying identities using proof of identity.

Keyppi uses a simple browser-based front end that allows users to register a new set of private keys, restore a previously registered set of private keys, and also gift wallets. If the user tries to register a new set of keys, after selecting the type of wallet, he needs to fill in the wallet address, private key and email or SMS to connect the wallet.

To recover the private key, the user needs to log in with their World ID, which will trigger the verification of their identity proof via email or SMS. After the identity verification is successful, the platform will send the received nullifier to the zkApp and start the process with this The decryption of the information associated with the nullifier, the user will then be able to view and recover the private key.

Keyppi will also allow users to share encrypted private keys with family or friends, prompting them to replace their World ID nullifier with one of the new owner, to preserve recovery functionality.
