More DeFi bugs
Hegic was probably the fastest DeFi project from launch to critical bug, as both of these things happened within a few days of last week! The downside is that this new DeFi protocol that allows you to trade options (called Hegic), deployed their contract to mainnet, received a lot of hype and some capital inflows, and then found a critical bug that resulted in freezing their contract funds in. Now, because of this loophole, their contract is forever locked at $28,000 (although the team will pay for the damage). We’ll discuss this further on the EthHub Weekly Recap podcast, where we’ll be live (video!) for the first time this week. You can find it on Twitter and on Monday around 3pmYouTubeCheck the time in your time zone on .

One last thing - last week I reached out to Rafael at Glassnode to get a new metric on their data platform. What are indicators? How many Ethereum wallets contain 32 ETH or more. Well, the number ismore than 116000! When eth2 phase 0 goes live later this year, there seems to be a lot of addresses ready :)
