CZ: Was once detained in the same prison as SBF

Odaily reports: Binance founder CZ stated in a recent interview that he was assigned to the low-security Lompoc II prison in California, where FTX founder SBF was later also detained.

Before entering prison, CZ assembled an advisory team to learn the rules of the prison cell block, and communicated with other inmates through one of his advisors to adapt to prison life.

In August 2024, CZ left Lompoc prison and was transferred to a halfway house, spending his final two weeks at a local jail due to immigration status issues; within 26 minutes of his release, his private jet took off.
