Coinbase Launches Regulated Crypto Derivatives and Commodity Futures in Canada, Supporting Up to 10x Leverage

Odaily Planet Daily News: Coinbase, through its subsidiary Coinbase Financial Markets (CFM), has launched regulated derivative contracts for eligible Canadian traders, becoming the first major crypto platform to offer native crypto futures in Canada. Products include 23 perpetual and dated futures contracts covering Bitcoin, ETH, SOL, and others, as well as 5 commodity futures including gold, silver, and oil, plus the COIN50 index futures, all supporting leverage up to 10x. All contracts are provided by CFM, a CFTC-registered futures commission merchant, with a limited-time fee of 0.02% per trade plus $0.11 per contract.
