TSMC's second-quarter employee bonus reached NT$36 billion, up more than 50% year-on-year

Odaily Odaily News: Chipmaker TSMC today distributed approximately NT$36 billion in second-quarter employee bonuses, up more than 50% from the same period last year. Of TSMC's annual employee bonus, half is distributed after each quarter ends, and the other half is distributed after the shareholders' meeting the following year.

In the second quarter, driven by growth in its high-performance computing, Internet of Things, automotive, and consumer electronics platform businesses, TSMC's quarterly revenue and profit hit record highs, with revenue reaching $40.2 billion. Net profit attributable to parent company shareholders was NT$706.56 billion, up 77.4% year-on-year, with earnings per share of NT$27.25. (CTEE Semiconductor)
