PeaqOS Integrates World ID, Introducing Zero-Knowledge Proof Verification for Autonomous Robots

2026-08-24 07:43

Odaily News: On August 21, 2026, PeaqOS integrated World ID, allowing robots and machines running on PeaqOS to natively request and verify World ID proofs via robotic.sh, confirming that the interacting party is a real and unique human without collecting names, facial information, or other personal data.

The system uses zero-knowledge proofs, meaning machines receive cryptographic proof that the user is a real person rather than identity information. As a coordination layer, PeaqOS connects World ID through decentralized identifiers and machine marketplaces, recording auditable interaction logs.

This solution can be applied to use cases such as autonomous delivery, shared machines, and pharmaceutical delivery. Users can verify multiple times within the World App and during delivery steps, allowing robots to confirm that the recipient is the same person associated with the order. PeaqOS also plans to extend zero-knowledge verification to more DePIN projects. (Bitcoin.com News)
