Odaily News: Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Gharibabadi issued a statement stating that security in the Persian Gulf region should be jointly maintained by regional countries, and Iran advocates resolving regional security issues without interference from external forces. Gharibabadi pointed out that Iran has submitted and recorded evidence to the UN Security Council regarding attacks on Iran launched from the territory of other countries, including a small number of direct attacks. He also stated that based on currently available information, regional countries have become deeply aware that the expansion of conflict and the continuation of military operations will pose a serious threat to their own security.
