Odaily Planet Daily News NVIDIA (NVDA.O) has issued a price increase notice to its board partners, with the price hike involving GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory kits. It is reported that when NVIDIA sells products to board partners, it packages the GPU chips with VRAM (video memory) chips into kits for supply. The partners are then responsible for installing these chips onto their own designed PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) to produce customized graphics cards. As the prices of GDDR6 and GDDR7 memory kits are about to rise again, it is expected that AIB (Add-in Board) manufacturers will have no choice but to correspondingly increase the prices of graphics cards.
